1. Cutout Specs for UCG-Ultra, UCG-Max, UXG-Max, and USW-Flex
Ubiquiti’s compact polycarbonate gateways (UCG-Ultra, UCG-Max, UXG-Max) share an identical 141.8 × 30.0 mm front profile with a front status LCM screen. Combining a 142.2 × 30.4 mm gateway cutout with a USW-Flex-2.5G-8 (200.4 × 31.4 mm) or USW-Lite-8-PoE (200.4 × 30.4 mm) switch cutout lets you mount your entire core router and switch tier in a single 1U slot.
2. Bringing Rear RJ45 Ports to the Front Panel with Keystones
Because the UCG-Ultra and UCG-Max place their 2.5GbE WAN and LAN ports on the rear, adding 4 snap-in RJ45 keystone cutouts (14.8 × 19.3 mm) along the right side of the 1U plate keeps all patch cables accessible from the front of the rack.
